First of all, please see what kind barcode your application needs. Then please see what communication interface your terminal  need. If you want to send command from your terminal to the barcode scanner module, you can choose USB COM or RS232 TTL  interface. If you want real RS232 interface, you should add extra converter to change TTL level signal to real RS232.   But that will also increase your total cost.

Then please check if any size limit on your application. And be attention for the voltage you should design.

The CM-005 & following CM-003 barcode scanner module is very old but stable barcode scanning engine 

for 1D barcode reading solution.   If you have trouble for your current 1D barcode scanning engine and 

are looking for a proper replacement, the CM-005 and CM-003 barcode scanner module will be very good

The function of the demo board is :

 The CM-007 barcode scanner module is a designed for limit space application use.

The CM-2D002 barcode scanner module is built in Honeywell 2D module with our interface converter board

to connect with RS232 or USB cable.  This solution is good for small q'ty application which just need barcode

scanner module to connect with their ready RS232 or USB port. CM-2D002 2維條碼掃描模組, 內建Honeywell 2D 光學模組, 另外加上了RS232 或者 USB 介面轉接板, 適合專案量不大, 又需要一個直接連到主機RS232 或者 USB 插槽的條碼掃描模組.

CANMAX CM-2D005W1 barcode scanner module is with CANMAX BLE firmware to enhance the 

communication range to 25M ( indoor ) & 40M ( outdoor ) which is far distance than normal BLE 

barcode scanner did. But it must to work with CANMAX USB dongle to have the max. communication range. CM-2D005W1這款2維模組, 加了 5.0 BLE 藍芽.  值得一提的是, CANMAX 自己寫的藍芽韌體, 傳輸距離比市面上的低功率藍芽要遠一些, 室內無大片牆面金屬板等障礙物的狀況下, 傳輸距離約25公尺, 室外空曠處約40公尺.  對於需要低功耗, 又想要距離遠一些的專案負責人們是一個最適配的選擇.   此外, 為了達到最佳的傳輸距離, 必須搭配CANMAX的USB dongle 一起使用. 另外還有鋰電池可以選配.

The CM-2D006 barcode scanner module can read 1D, 2D and OCR A, OCR B code.  Most application 

of CM-2D006 is for passport reading system in Hotel, exchange center, tax refund shops or bank for 

check numbers reading. And it can take a photo of the passport or ID card....etc.  CM-2D006 模組是一款2維高解析的條碼掃描模組, 特點是可以支援OCR A & B 碼, 對於需要讀護照 ( MRZ 碼 ) 或者國外駕照 ( PDF417 碼 ) , 支票上的號碼等的應用專案, 這是最適合的一款. 體積小, 掃描速度快, 是其特點.  若專案需要整合原先從 USB HID 收資料的舊軟體 到需要從 USB COM 收資料的新軟體上,  CANMAX 提供特殊雙介面指令功能給程式開發者, 因此可以依照程式設計師需求召喚適合介面使用, 所以同一個軟體中, 可以使用USB HID & USB COM 來接收不同的資料. 此外, 本款條碼掃描模組還可以給護照, 駕照等等證件照相存檔. 適用飯店 check in 系統, 外匯交換中心以及免稅商店, 銀行開戶等業務應用.

If your application is for a POS software which may need USB HID interface to read products barcode and 

USB COM interface to scan and get the image copy of passport or driver licence card, we offer interface

Example

When the barcode head is started by A123, then the barcode should be outout with a $ as the first digit of barcode.  Or the A123 should be insteaded by 67850
